1. Who we are

TrueBite ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by Nidhi Trivedi. By using TrueBite you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You can reach us any time at support@nextwave-ops.com.

2. What TrueBite is

TrueBite estimates the calories, ingredients, and macros of a dish from a photo, and helps you set and track a daily calorie goal. Every result is an approximate estimate shown with a range and a confidence level — not an exact measurement.

3. Not medical advice

TrueBite is a general wellness and calorie-tracking tool. It is NOT medical, nutritional, or dietary advice, and it does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Always consult your doctor or a qualified dietician before making health decisions, especially if you have diabetes, are pregnant, or have any medical condition.

4. Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use TrueBite. You can use it anonymously, or sign in with a phone number, email, or Google. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for the activity on your account.

5. Acceptable use

When using TrueBite, you agree not to:

• Use it for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass, or mislead others.
• Try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its systems.
• Upload content that is not yours to share, or that is illegal or offensive.
• Resell or commercially exploit the app without our written permission.

6. Free use and Pro

TrueBite has a free tier so you can try it. Some features and higher scan limits are part of Pro, a paid subscription. Current prices are shown on the Pricing page and at checkout. Prices may change; we'll show the current price before you pay.

7. Payments & billing

Payments are handled by our payment partners — Razorpay for India (cards, UPI, netbanking) and Lemon Squeezy for international payments. We do not see or store your full card or UPI details. Applicable taxes are added where required. A Pro subscription renews for the period you choose until you cancel.

8. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel Pro any time; your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on refunds.

9. Accuracy & your responsibility

Food estimates are inherently uncertain and can be wrong. Portion size, hidden ingredients, oil, and cooking method all affect calories. Use the numbers as a helpful guide, not a precise fact, and use your own judgement.

10. Intellectual property

The TrueBite name, app, design, and content are owned by us. You may use the app for your personal, non-commercial use. Your food photos and your data remain yours.

11. Availability & changes

We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time, and the app may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance. We may also update these Terms; the latest version is always on this page with the date above.

12. Limitation of liability

TrueBite is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on its estimates. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the courts of India.
